Hi, welcome to my 2nd game! I made this as a POC for GDFG 24 with a couple of self-learning goals:

  • Play around with low lighting
  • Make sure every action has enough of an impact and/or a cost on the game (i.e. no "spamming")

Known issues - to fix:

  1. Loot is not "hidden" under the grass.
  2. Start button does not work sometimes after death

Next features:

  1. Extend into different "loot" types and win conditions. I wanted to incentivize collecting wood to create something like torches for extra lighting. But also make it such that spending the wood would extend the game.
  2. Different level layouts POCs
  3. Better enemy AI movement
  4. "Boss fight" stage
  5. VFX/SFX
